Shiralee worked as headmistress of a nursery school in central London, but found she had very little time with her own young children (now aged 7 and 4). She wanted to work from home, do something creative, and be around for her children.
A Wiltshire girl originally, she has returned to her roots after an absence of over 20 years. She swapped an increasingly cramped London flat for a characterful stone cottage overlooking fields and the occasional deer. Her two boys are now able to enjoy the nearest thing to the Enid Blyton childhood she remembers.
She loves the countryside and walking her dog "Fabbi". Some of her best ideas come to her while out walking. |
